I thought I was doing so well when I returned to the finish area so quickly, until I saw the sign saying ‘5KM’ and realised I was only half way round and had to do it all again!  Still, I survived with a modest time of 58:02, which, considering my training regime for the past few weeks was limited to running for the bus, I can live with!
