Self-reliance,
with a purpose.
I’m a ship’s captain by trade, with around two decades at sea behind me. That taught me preparation, judgement and how to keep going when things go wrong, all of which matter in the Arctic.
Most of my challenges raise money for charity, often for causes close to home in Kent. I tell the story as it happens, the good days and the 28-hour walks, and I bring partners along for the whole journey, including the bits I’d rather forget.
